›Story

Starlathe is set in a galaxy split between six factions, each with its own leader, always trading, feuding and going to war with each other. Out past them is the Vigil: an ancient machine armada built long ago to protect humanity from something called the Space Creatures. It woke up broken, and now it treats every living pilot as the enemy.

You start as one pilot with one small ship. Nothing is handed to you. Every rank comes from what you actually do: flying, trading, mining, fighting, building. The main story, Six Banners, has you win over all six leaders one at a time. Once all six fly under one banner, the war against the Vigil begins.
